Who this is for

Book this when you need direction, not just a document

This session is the right starting point when the decision itself is the hard part.

You are not sure which service you need

You have a legal problem, but you cannot tell whether it calls for a demand letter, a contract, a filing, or something else.

Several issues overlap

Your situation has more than one moving part, and the parts interact with each other.

You want a lawyer to review the facts and your documents

You want an attorney to actually read the contract, notice, or correspondence at the center of it, not skim a summary.

You need to weigh options and risks

You want the realistic upside, the downside, and the tradeoffs laid out before you commit to a path.

You are about to act

You are close to sending a demand or signing an agreement, and you want to get it right the first time.

What I personally review

I read your materials before we get on Zoom

You send me the key information and documents in advance. I go through them personally, so the hour is working time and not intake.

Your key documents

The contract, demand, notice, agreement, filing, or correspondence at the center of the matter.

Your summary of what happened

The short facts: who the parties are, the amounts at issue, and the timeline.

Your objective and any deadline

What outcome you want, and any date that constrains how fast you have to move.

This is not a discovery call or a free intake. I do not do free quick calls, free initial consultations, or free document reviews, even for large or ongoing work. This paid, scheduled session is how you get me on a call, already prepared.

What you receive

A working hour and a clear next step

  • I personally review the information and selected documents you provide in advance.
  • A one-hour live consultation with me on Zoom, screen sharing on.
  • A clear discussion of your objectives, the risks, and the practical options.
  • A recommendation of the next step to take.
  • Identification of any additional documents or actions needed.
  • Guidance on whether a demand letter, a contract service, a custom engagement, or no further action is the right move.

The AI assistant organizes your questions and documents. I personally review the materials and conduct the consultation. No junior associates, no scheduling middlemen.

Not sure the Zoom session is the right fit?

Tell me what is going on and I will tell you whether the live one-hour Zoom session fits, or whether the $240 written consultation, a $1,200 demand letter, a $1,200 contract draft or redline, or the $1,200 litigation-leverage package is the better starting point. Then book above.

A full document review and tailored advice happen inside the paid session, not in this chat. AI-generated legal information, attorney-supervised, not legal advice.

Pricing & scope free · instant · no email

One hour of live Zoom with screen sharing, plus a preliminary review of the key documents you send before the call. Issue spotting, a realistic read on risk and leverage, and concrete next steps. It is not drafting, filing, representation, full document review, or contact with the other side. Those move into the relevant package.

Book the $400 Zoom session

Both are entry-tier products with the same scope philosophy. The $240 Written Attorney Consultation is async: you submit your question, a short summary, and key documents, and I send a written response on the issues, risks, leverage, and next steps within about two business days. The $400 Zoom session is live: one hour, screen sharing, real-time back-and-forth. Pick written for a clear, contained question you want in writing; pick Zoom when you need to talk through tradeoffs and adjust strategy in real time.

The session does not include drafting. If after the hour you want me to act, I quote the matching flat fee: a $1,200 Demand & Filing-Readiness Package on firm letterhead, a $1,200 contract draft or redline, or the $1,200 Litigation-Leverage Demand Package, which adds a draft complaint or arbitration demand attached as leverage. The session fee is separate from those package fees.

Inside the booking flow above, attach the key materials: the contract, demand, notice, or correspondence at the center of the matter, plus a short summary of what happened and what you want. I read them before we get on the call so the hour is working time, not intake. You can also upload a document to the AI here for a quick read on fit.

Book the $400 Zoom session

If the matter justifies it, I say so before time runs out, and we either continue or roll the work into the appropriate package. If the dispute turns into ongoing back-and-forth with the other side, that is the $1,500 Pre-Litigation Negotiation Phase: multiple counter-letters, written negotiation through settlement or impasse, and one settlement or release review. That phase is arranged by email.

Scope, comparison, and questions

What this session is not

Not drafting or redlining

I do not draft or redline demand letters, contracts, or filings inside the hour. That is the separate $1,200 / $1,200 packages.

Not filing or representation

The session does not initiate court or arbitration filings, and I am not your attorney of record unless we sign a separate engagement letter.

Not full document review

Preliminary review means I read what you send and discuss it. A comprehensive document review beyond the hour, or a written legal memo, is a separate engagement.

Not third-party communication or negotiation

I do not contact, negotiate with, or correspond with the other side as part of this session.

Scope is California only. Drafting, redlining, filing, third-party communications, negotiations, a written legal memo, and full document review are excluded unless separately agreed.

Written consultation or Zoom session?

Both are entry-tier products. Pick by format and by how much live back-and-forth the matter needs.

How the process works

1. Pick your time and add your details. In the booking flow above, choose an open slot, add your name, email, a short matter summary, and your documents.

2. Pay the $400 to reserve it. Payment confirms your slot and kicks off a short conflict and scope check.

3. I verify and confirm. I match your payment, confirm the Zoom time, and email your link automatically. No separate email needed.

4. We meet on Zoom for one hour, screen sharing on. I have already read your materials.

5. You leave with a plan. If you want me to draft, redline, or represent you on the next step, I quote the appropriate tier.

Is the session attorney-client privileged?

After payment and a short conflict check, an attorney-client relationship is formed for the limited scope of this strategy session, and the conversation is privileged.

How is this different from a $430 Upwork consult?

Same attorney, same scope, $30 lower price, and you skip the Upwork platform round-trip. If you find me on Upwork first, that link works fine and the substance is identical.

Can I record the call?

Yes, with notice. Zoom's built-in recording works. The materials we discuss are privileged; treat the recording the same way you would treat a written attorney memo.

What if I would rather not get on Zoom?

The $240 Written Attorney Consultation is the async alternative. Same attorney, same scope philosophy, written deliverable.

Attorney advertising. This page describes a paid legal service and is general information about how the service works. It is not legal advice, and no attorney-client relationship is formed by reading it or by submitting a booking. An attorney-client relationship is formed only after payment is received, a conflict check is completed, and the scope of representation is confirmed in writing. Scope is California only.
